Forgotten Mirrors From the Canal (2021-)

Forgotten Mirrors from the canal is an ongoing project between me and other fellow boaters. I create mirror sculptures out of mirrors I find in my everchanging neighbourhood on the towpath and in the canal network.
This project focuses on me walking with fellow boaters and explore our neighbourhood via my portable mirror sculptures. Displacing the surrounding environment empowers fellow boaters to generate a sense of belonging to their neighbourhood.
