Re-visioning My Neighbourhood (2021)

In Summer 2021 I facilitated a workshop for public in partnership with FAT Art Studio and Southwark Council.

This workshop invited participants from wide ethnical, sexual and racial background with different abilities to come together and experiment with how they can re-visualise their neighbourhood using my portable mirror sculptures.

By conducting individual and collaborative games, participants experimented with performance art, sculpture making and photography to displace the architecture of their surrounding environment. These playful explorations in turn generated a stronger and more intimate sense of ownership for participants towards their neighbourhood.
